Jev Model Guide (typesafe-jev.com) is a third-party learning site maintained by the independent community. It has no affiliation with, endorsement by, or agency for TypeSafe AI; Jev, System One, TypeSafe, and related names belong to their owner. Opinions here are the editors’ own.
How we separate fact from noise
Section titled “How we separate fact from noise”Every page ends with a “Sources & verification” list; each source carries a type badge and a verification date. The taxonomy:

Verification method (executed 2026-09-22)
Section titled “Verification method (executed 2026-09-22)”- Official facts: fetched the then-current docs.typesafe.ai pages and official blog directly; key numbers (pricing, limits, type parameters) follow the current official docs
- GitHub projects: verified existence, ownership, license, and a stars snapshot per repo via the GitHub API (see Ecosystem)
- Videos: verified every title and channel via the YouTube oembed API; unverifiable publish dates are marked unknown (see Video tutorials)
- Unverifiable figures: explicitly marked “not verified” — or left out entirely (see the disputes table in Limitations)
What we don’t do
Section titled “What we don’t do”- Present community implementations as TypeSafe official projects
- Describe open replicas as Jev going open-source
- Republish unverifiable benchmark tables (unless clearly labeled third-party)
- Embed third-party players or ad scripts (ad status lives on the privacy page)
- Display or store API keys; site examples read from environment variables only
Content & languages
Section titled “Content & languages”The site ships in English and 中文; semantic pairs share one translationKey and stay technically consistent, with the Chinese edition as the primary. Spotted a translation or factual error? Email contact@typesafe-jev.com.
